Who is "Friend. Mobile Notary"?
My name is Jessica Friend. I have a Criminology degree from Western University and a Paralegal Graduate Certificate from Centennial College. I am a licensed Paralegal with the Law Society of  Ontario and certified Notary Public in the Province of O
​ntario. When I am not at my desk, I am an active soccer coach in the community and at the Collegiate level. I strive to be the best in all that I do, which means I will strive to be the best with all your document needs.

As a certified Notary Public, I am a​ble to witness oaths, sign affidavits and certify documents to be true copies of the original.

What Is A Notary?

In Ontario, 

A Notary Public has all the powers of a commissioner for taking affidavits and, can verify that signatures, marks and copies of documents are true or genuine. Notaries are regulated under the Notaries Act.

What Is A Commissioner of Oaths?

A Commissioner of Oaths take affidavits or declarations by asking you to swear or affirm that what is in a document is true.

How is a document notarized?

Notarizing a documents involves signing a document in front of a Notary Public. The document will then be signed by the Notary Public and an official Notarial Seal will be applied. 


Things to note.


1. You must not sign your document in advance of your appointment. Your signature must be witnessed by a certified Notary Public (myself). 


2. Valid Government ID is required. Verification of the identity of the deponent/declarant must be completed prior to notarization.


3. Some documents can be witnessed and notarized virtually.

​1st Notarized Document

$44.99 + HST

First notarized document constitutes the first use of my required signature and notarization.

2​nd Notarized Document

$24.99 + HST each

Second not​arized document commences when a second signature and stamp is required. Each subsequent document, and stamp that follows.

  Mobile Fees

$10.00 - $50.00 & up + HST

Whether it be meeting you at a local coffee shop, travelling to your place of residence, work, hospital, etc.: a mobile fee will apply.

*Distance will determine the additional fee.
